Your Strategy Consultation.
Your Strategy Consultation with us is a 30-minute discussion, held over the phone, about your career history and your commercial value to the market.
We dive into your background strategically to garner the necessary information from you in order to position your experience as a fit for your intended direction.
Your engagement with us is a 6-10 business day engagement from the date of purchase.
Day 2-3: Strategy Consultation. We contact you very soon after we receive notification of purchase to arrange your Strategy Consultation. Availability – both ours and yours – does play a role, but we typically aim to schedule in the Strategy Consultation within a couple of days after the purchase date.
Day 5 – 6: First resume draft issued in Microsoft Word format and sent to you via email. This date is pending any outstanding information required from you. If additional information is required from you following the consultation, we expect your prompt and timely response. This draft is very much a work in progress and will contain questions for you about your career and intended direction. You have 2 days from the day of issue to provide us with your responses and amendment requests. If you don’t submit your responses within 2 days we have the right to assume that no further work is required and that our obligations to you are complete.
Day 7 – 8: Second resume draft is issued. At this point, the documents are often ready to be used in the job market. However, in some situations, another round of amendments may be required. You have 2 days from the date of the issue of the draft to issue such amendments.
Day 8- 10: Once the resume amendments are complete, we will write any other documents that you may have purchased – e.g., your cover letter and LinkedIn profile. These are usually delivered within a couple of days of the resume sign-off.
Rescheduling Your Strategy Consultation.
We require 72 business hours’ notice for rescheduling of Strategy Consultations. During the months of December and January, we require 7 business days’ notice.
Failure to give the required notice will result in a $400 cancellation fee. Consultation, coaching or writing will not take place until fees are paid in full.
Sickness, work, emergencies and unexpected events will still incur the scheduled cancellation fee. Unfortunately there can be no exceptions.
Limitation Of Liability.
The information contained in our reports should not be used or relied upon as the sole determiner for the purposes of your employment or other career or vocational matter.
You should consider your own personal situation in addition to the information provided by our services.
In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data, profit earnings, or lost opportunities, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of our services whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise even if Exceptional Resume Writers has been advised of the possibility of damages.
Under no circumstances shall Exceptional Resume Writers be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces, or causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, incorrect email addresses, internet failures, computer equipment failures, other equipment failures, or non performance of third parties.
Where liability cannot be excluded, any liability incurred by us in relation to the use of this website or the content is limited as provided under s 68A of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth).
You assume all responsibilities and obligations, both statutory and contractual as they apply in your country of residence, with respect to the use of our services and the use of any information derived either directly or indirectly from it and for any decisions or advice given as a result of the use of our services or any applications of the information provided through its use.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia. Any legal matters arising will commence and conclude within the jurisdiction of the NSW Courts.
